Dog Home Visit Check-Ins

Dog home visit check-ins are a great option when your dog needs a little extra care and companionship while you’re out for the day, working long hours, traveling, or simply unable to be home.

During a home visit, we come to your dog in their familiar surroundings and provide the care and attention they need. Depending on your dog’s routine, a visit can include a potty break, fresh food or water, medication, playtime, a walk, or simply some company and reassurance.

Why Might Your Dog Need a Home Visit?

Dogs are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible. If your dog is home alone for longer than they’re comfortable with, regular check-ins can help prevent boredom, loneliness, accidents, and unnecessary stress.

Home visits can be especially helpful for:

  • Puppies who need frequent potty breaks and supervision

  • Senior dogs who need extra care or more frequent bathroom breaks

  • Dogs who take medication during the day

  • Dogs who don’t do well being left alone for long periods

  • Dogs who need a midday break while you’re at work

  • Dogs recovering from illness, injury, or a procedure

  • Dogs who simply enjoy some extra attention and companionship

Most importantly, home visits allow your dog to stay comfortable in their own home while someone they can trust checks in on them. You can get on with your day knowing they’ve been cared for, given some attention, and had their needs looked after.
